It’s beginning to feel a lot like…

Labor day has passed us by, and all the white attire goes away for another year. The weather, if it hasn’t already done so for you, is about to turn chilly and with it, children’s minds will turn to the next big thing in their lives…

Christmas.

I know it may sound odd for me to mention the Christmas Holiday at the beginning of September, but if you’re like me, you’ve already thought of it yourself. Not only am I working on a Christmas themed children’s story, but I already have a small stockpile of gifts ready to be sent, I’ve checked on my decorations to see what I’ll need to grab in a month or so when things start going on pre-season sale and I’ve started hinting to my wife that we’re going to need a plan for decorating the new house.

Some of these things I can do now, but for the traditionalist in me, some things, like wreathes and garland need to wait until the cold weather has hit, and the Holidays are upon us.  At leastI don’t need to worry about where I’m going to find my Christmas garland this year. I’ll get it from Christmas Farms, avoid the lines, and have my garland and wreath delivered to my door.

One more thing off the checklist, and it’s not even Halloween yet!
