Proper lighting for better writing

Popular

Sounds a little silly doesn’t it? It shouldn’t. Unless you use some method of voice recognition when you write, having a good source of lighting is just as critical to keeping your vision healthy as having a good monitor. If you write in poorly lit conditions, you’ll end up straining your eyes, resulting in shorter writing sessions and quite probably some pretty nasty headaches.

If you’re asking, “why should I go out and replace my home lighting?”, the answer is, you don’t have to. A simple floor or desk lamp can give you the lighting you need to be more productive without requiring any major renovations, and without breaking the bank.

Now before you run out to your local Mega-Mall to grab a $10.00 lamp off the dorm supplies shelf, consider doing your eyes a favor and looking at something like this Kovacs table lamp. The halogen bulb will give a much more natural light, reducing eye strain even more, an allow you to get that light where you need it without glaring off your monitor.

Just something to think about.
