It’s got me under pressure

Doctor visits, labs, constant hassles and medication that doesn’t seem to be doing its job. Those are pretty much the high points of the last week.

I ended up in the hospital for a respiratory illness, then following up with a doctor on base for high blood pressure. Tests were run, and I’m thankful to say that aside from the blood pressure issues, I seem to be pretty damned healthy. Unfortunately, the blood pressure is still extremely high.

normal blood pressure is something around 120/80, Mine is averaging 133/100, but the lower number (Diastolic pressure) has shot up to as high as 109, just today. (for those who don’t know, that’s dangerous.)

So now I wait on the doc, who didn’t want to see it go over 90, to see if I need to go back in for another appointment, or if she can just change my medication and have my wife bring it home.
