This morning started pretty slowly. I got the word last night that my daughter had had her baby, Cecyllia Ann Hamilton. So I start today as a grandfather as well as everything that I was before. Life is interesting at times, to be sure.

I grabbed a copy of Straight Talk from the Editor, 18 Keys to a Rejection-Proof Submission from Amazon.com for a quick read over my morning Java. I found it to be quite informative, and would recommend it highly.

Terry Whalin does a great job of explaining why you’ll get rejected by a publisher. he does an even better job explaining what you should know to avoid having it happen. These are tools that every writer should know. Sections such as Six Keys to Guarantee Rejection and Six Keys to Gain an Editors Attention will give you a quick reference to the do’s and dont’s of submitting your work to a publisher.

Give Straight Talk from the Editor, 18 Keys to a Rejection-Proof Submission a read, it’s only 49ยข, and it could help you make that sale.
